All live case procedures will be transmitting into the TCT event through a combination of satellite and fiber optic media. The video resolution is 1920 by 1080i/59.94 and the signal format is HD-SDI with embedded audio. All signals come to TCT 2013 via the Master Control room and are distributed to each venue.
Audio from each meeting venue is returned to the transmission sites via telephone interface. This creates a means of two way communications between the transmission site and the meeting.

- For this year, all attendees will be receiving a 8-inch (20 cm) Samsung Tablet. This will replace the use of paper documentation - meaning: TCT 2013 will be the largest meeting in the world to go "paperless".
- The tablets will also provide attendees with copies of all speaker presentations held at the meeting. The tablets will also feature links to recorded case content and all the live cases transmitted into the meeting - delayed six (6) hours (for HIPAA purposes).
- After the TCT meeting, the same tablets will be used for subsequent CRF related meetings.
- It should be noted, there will be numerous industry VIPs and major meeting planners at TCT to take notes on this pioneering effort.
- Med-Scene, L.L.C. will be instituting the use of a computer-based matrix intercom system for live case transmission coordination. This will allow for quicker, more direct communications between the transmission sites and the meeting room directors at the TCT 2013 meeting.
- There will be a new "Extended Case Recording" system used for this year's TCT meeting. This system will record a transmission site's transmitting case after the site presentation window in the venue has ended. In this way, even if the conclusion of the case was not shown during the site's live case window, an attendee will be able to watch the end of the case - or a case review - at the end of the day via the internet.
- TESTING-TESTING-TESTING: This year is all about testing of the live case signals for TCT. Each site will have testing of their transmission signal days and hours in advance. For an anniversary event, NOTHING IS BEING LEFT TO CHANCE!
